I tried a brush for the trees in the background on this page. I don't know if I'd like to use it long term, but I think it works for the mood of this page well.
This page gets a little personal. I think most geeks and nerds, myself included, have that moment in our 20's or 30's where we realize just how much of our lives we've spent in the fictional stories we love, and how different these stories can be from reality. Often this realization is very jarring, and makes us feel unprepared for how unfair and cruel the world can be. But this lesson, although harsh, is part of growing-up, and no matter how trying a tribulation, our cleverness and resilience often help us find our way. (Don't worry, Jenny is no exception.)
